WHAT HAPPENED?
As per in Germany, the contract extension showdown between Bayern and Davies is still ongoing with the Canadian's contract set to end in the summer of 2025. The Bavarians want the Madrid-linked fullback to sign a new contract this summer so as to not lose him on a free transfer next summer.

Bayern have made their position clear to Davies and his camp: sign the contract extension or leave this summer. Real Madrid have been in talks with the full-back and Vincent Kompany's side have set their asking price of €50 million (£43m/$54m). Los Blancos are yet to table an offer and the report from says the player may be leaning towards signing the extension after having encouraging talks with the Bavarian club.
